Bellatrix Lestrange Sucks. She’s evil, nasty, murderous, and just plain bad. I can’t stand her, she’s my least favorite Harry Potter character, I hate her even more than I hate Voldemort!!!!
First off, she KILLED Sirius Black! Not only was Sirius a great character, Harry’s last “relation”, and a great guy, he was kinda hot too. Seriously!

Also, she dresses like a psycho goth. I mean, seriously, WHY rip up perfectly good clothes like that? Her clothes are all black, she looks like a goth witch. and the hair…..UGH! *shudder* Her clothes are all crazy and shredded, she looks like a three-year old made her dress, it’s HIDEOUS! For someone who appriciates the Arts, they can see that this costume is FANTASTIC. It suits Helena’s persona, AND just screams “Bellatrix”. To me, it looks like a proper Witches outfit. When I was little, Bellatrix is EXACTLY what I imagined when I thought of witches, only I imagined them with a pointy witches hat, too.

Um… I really do hope this is a joke… because if it is, it’s the worst joke I’ve ever seen, and I have two little sisters. I’m not even going to talk about HBC, because she has a) almost nothing to do with this, and b) she is gorgeous, and original. Kristen Stewart isn’t a bad actress (from what I know of; I’ve only watched Twilight) but she, like Bella, seems sadly two-dimensional. Bellatrix has ten times the depth of Bella Swan– and while Bella Swan is the main character in Twilight, Bella L. (I’m rather fond of using Voldemort’s pet name for her) is a minor (sadly) character in Harry Potter. J.K. Rowling has written with amazing feat in Harry Potter, and even minor characters have much more complexity than any of Stephanie Meyer’s characters. Need an example? The name Bellatrix Lestrange. Bella means beautiful, referring to the pre-Azkaban Bella, and also war. Bellatrix means warrioress. Lestrange is a play on l’etrange, which means the strange. Bellatrix is also referred to as the “Amazon Star”, and the Amazon were a group of female warriors. I don’t see any special thought that Stephanie Meyer took to creating even her main character’s name.
